In a thrilling week 8 of the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side Football league, the teams battled it out under the floodlights with some spectacular performances on display.

In the Premier League division, Mirage United delivered a standout performance by coming out on top with a 5-3 victory against Haven’t Jota Clue. Paul from Mirage United was the star of the evening, scoring a remarkable hat-trick to take the match away from their opponents. Boca Seniors were also in prime form, defeating Not Quite Passed It with a decisive 4-1 victory.

The Division 1 matches were equally electrifying with Bilkos Ballers succumbing to a 7-3 defeat at the hands of Barely Athletic. However, the match of the night was a closely contested face off between Del Bosque FC and Misfits FC, with Misfits FC emerging victorious, courtesy of an exceptional performance from Gregg, scoring 3 goals. Surreal Madrid clinched a 2-0 win against Boca to round off the night.

The most valued player for the week was Jordan Round from Boca Seniors, who delivered a stellar performance and was instrumental in his team's success.

With only two weeks left of the season, the competition is heating up and the teams are leaving no stone unturned to secure their place for the next season. The top scorers for each division have set a high benchmark, with Paul leading in the Premier League and Gregg taking the lead in Division 1.
