A BRILLIANT NIGHT OF 6-A-SIDE IN BRIERLEY HILL!

A fantastic night in the Brierley Hill Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for on a very competitive night in the league. Unfortunately we did have one disciplinary issue in the game between 'Pique Blinders' vs 'Borrussia MunchYourDadsSack'. Ben Styles reacted angrily to a challenge which boiled over to others entering the pitch, for his part in the situation Ben has been fined £10 and been given a one week ban because of this. It is important that all teams and spectators remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly. On a side note to this incident can all spectators please refrain from entering the field of play while there is a match being  played to allow the referees to deal with any situations that may arise, if this does not happen then people will be asked not to attend the league in future. I have every faith it won't happen again but please bare this in mind if you are cheering your team on.

On more positive news, game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes 'Man Chest Hair United' VS 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC'. A very tight affair that saw two teams go all out for the win. 'Man Chest Hair United' came out on top 3-2 which now puts them two points clear of there opponents going into the second half of the season.

The game of the night in Division One was between 'We Lose Every Week' and 'Inter Mi'Bathams'. A close affair finishing 2-2 between two teams that wil be looking to push for promotion moving forward. With half the season now played there is 5 points splitting 1st down to 5th so it's all to play for with 7 weeks to go.

Team of the week for this week is 'Dole Dossers F.C.'. The undefeated league leaders of Division One are getting better and better on route to there quest to be one of the two teams promoted to the Premier Division. As the season goes on it will be interesting to see if they can keep up the good work.
