A FANTASTIC START TO LIFE AT STOURBRIDGE RUGBY CLUB!

A fantastic first night for the Stourbridge Monday League at Stourbridge Rugby Club as the league started at its new venue with a bang.

There was one non-attendance as 'Pass It To The Left' were not present, unfortunately as the team have now missed 2 of the last 3 fixtures the team will be removed with immediate effect. Although this does open up a space it is important that all teams are present each week in order for the league to run smoothly each and every week, if you are having any problems please ensure you contact your Area Manager and they can help in anyway that you need.

In more positive news we welcomed new team 'Neville' who ran out very impressive 3-0 winners in their first game. We wish them all the best moving forward in the league.

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the top of the table clash between 'That Peter Crouch Team' and 'Borussia Teeth'. Two very good teams faced off in the first Premier Division game at the new venue and the 3-1 win for 'Borussia Teeth' means that the race for the title closes right up. This win coupled with 'Inter Mi'Bathams' 3-1 win means that both winners are now one point from 'That Peter Crouch Team' in the race to be Premier Division champions for this season.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the 7 goal thriller between '6 Berks And A Turk' and 'Nitty Commitee FC'. It really was an end to end game that could have gone either way and was a joy to watch. '6 Berks And A Turk' came out with the 4-3 win and therefore looking up the table as we near the halfway stage. As the weeks go by it will be interesting to see if they can continue this winning run and continue to climb the table.

Team of the week are new team 'Neville' there 3-0 win over 'Paris Ganja Man' shows there intent as they go into the seventh week of the season looking at what impact they can have on the current season. Next week they come up against league veterans 'Inter Mi'Bathams' can they win again and upset the apple cart at the top of the table.
