ANOTHER FANTASTIC NIGHT IN THE BRIERLEY HILL MONDAY LEAGUE!!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for and some very tight games played throughout.

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between the top two at the start of the night 'Exeter Gently' and 'That Peter Crouch Team'. Both teams were very impressive in a very close encounter on the night but it was Exeter Gently who came out on top 2-1 and therefore remain unbeaten to start the season. Can they keep this form going throughout the whole season?

Game of the week in Division One goes to the seven goal thriller between 'Crumptons Firm' and 'West Midlands United FC'. 5-2 'Crumptons Firm' won in the end but it was great to see such an open and exciting game as such a great advert to this league and whole knows a bit luck here or an extra bit of skill there may have seen a different result. Three points now split these teams as we near the halfway stage of the season it will be interesting what the situation is like the next time the two teams meet.

Team of the week for this week is '6 Berks And A Turk'. Starting where they finished last season they are looking good again and are up to second in Division One with there sights on the title. Next up for them is 'AC McCann', which means it will be 1st against 2nd in a battle for the top spot, who will come out on top?
