FANTASTIC GAMES THROUGHOUT MONDAY LEAGUE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Monday League.

Unfortunately we did have two non-attendances as 'Chip Butty FC' and 'Umps XI' were unable to fulfil there fixtures. The league has got in contact with both and they have confirmed there returns. It is paramount all teams do there upmost to fulfil each and every fixture in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each and every week.

In more positive news, game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Wall Heath FC' and 'Crep City FC'. A fantastically close game between two evenly matched teams saw 'Wall Heath FC' win 2-1 . Nicely placed in second now 'Wall Heath FC' are full of confidence going into there game against the returning 'Chip Butty FC' next week.

Division One game of the week was between 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' and 'SH Dons'. Division One is shaping up nicely as 'SH Dons' were able to bounce back from there first loss last week to come out on top 3-2. Some very evenly matched teams throughout this league means we are in for a very interesting season in Division One.

The game of the night in Division Two was the game between 'Bayern Neverlosen' and 'Cott Lane Colts'. Two similarly able teams that served up a cracker but it was 'Cott Lane Colts' who continued there fine start to the season as they came out on top 3-2 and taking the bragging rights this time. Looking forward to there top of the table clash against 'Call The Cops FC' next week as someone's unbeaten start must end next week.

The game of the night Division Three was the game between 'Football Club FC' and 'Park Tavern FC'. A 12-goal thriller that was finally balanced throughout but it was 'Football Club FC' that were clinical when they needed to be as they ran out 8-4 winners in the end. This means they have bounced back well following there poor first game of the season and are now one point off the top of the league, will this be a promotion season for them?

'Wolves Ay We' are our team of the week. They put there unbeaten start to the season on the line against lasts season's runners up 'Inter Mi'Bathams' and were clinical and solid in a 6-0 win. Can anybody catch them again this season? They are two points clear after four games and looking to build on there terrific first season.
