FIVE WEEKS COMPLETED IN BRIERLEY HILL!!!

Once again a brilliant night in the Brierley Hill Monday 6aside League with all teams in attendance as expected. We also welcomed new team 'Crep City FC' who had a strong showing against 'Inter Mi'Bathams' in their first game, running them a lot closer than the scoreline suggests. We wish them all the best as the league moves forward.

The Premier Division game of the week this week goes to the closely fought game between 'Puyol Pants Down' VS 'Man Chest Hair United', a close and tight affair between two teams that know each other well now as they have played each other a lot over the last year but it was 'Man Chest Hair United' who came out 2-1 winners. This is a very important result in a closely contested Premier Division and could be very important come the end of the season.

The game of the night in Division One was the game between 'Sondico Marcus Jones' and '6 Berks And A Turk'. Both teams are promotion contenders this year and as the scoreline suggests it could have gone either way but it was the unbeaten league leaders that kept there undefeated streak going. It will be interesting to see how the game goes when the two teams meet again and how important it will be on the overall standings in the league. 

Following their win above and climbing within 1 point of the top of the league 'Man Chest Hair United are our team of the week. Unbeaten to start the season and defeating last seasons champions this week sets them up nicely for the remainder of the season.

On another note, half of the man of the matches tonight were not on the system and therefore did not claim there man of the match. Please ensure that you are pushing you captains to complete your player cards online and join your team, without this you cannot claim your man of the match on the night if you get one.

The league is now off for the bank holiday Monday 27th May 2019 and will resume again on Monday 3rd June 2019 as the centre is closed.
