FOUR GAMES GONE IN BRIERLEY HILL!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Brierley Hill Monday League. Unfortunately we did have one non attendance with 'Helen Jones FC' unable to field a team, however the team have confirmed there return for next week. It is paramount that all teams try their hardest each and every week to get a team out and contact their area manager as soon as possible if they cannot in order to make the league run smoothly each and every week.

In more positive news, we welcomed new team 'Gary Neville Is A Legend' to the league. It was great to see them win there opening game against 'Real Madras' and we look forward how they get on in future as they look to climb the division. Good luck!

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'AC McCann' and 'Dudley Warriors'. A somewhat surprise result with how the games have gone to start the season but with how close the teams are in the league it will be interesting to see how this result effects the rest of the season. 'AC McCann' ran out 4-3 winners on this occasion and therefore got their first points of the season and inflicted 'Dudley Warriors' first loss of the season, they will be looking for revenge later in the season.

All good games in Division One again but it was the final game of the night between '6 Berks And A Turk' and 'Crep City FC' that was the best of the night. Two closely matched teams that have played each other a few times now but always a good game. It was '6 Berks And A Turk who came out on top this time but it really could have gone either way. With this win '6 Berks And A Turk' are up to second and go into a 2nd vs 3rd battle next week as they take on 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC'.

Team of the week for this week is 'Pass It To The Left'. Slowly going about their business as they go top of Division One following a difficult first season in the league, they have taken 7 points from a possible 8 in the first four games and looking good in that division. Next week they go up against new boys 'Gary Neville Is A Legend', who will come out on top when next week comes around?
