STILL ALL TO PLAY FOR WITH THREE GAMES TO GO!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Brierley Hill Monday League this week with all teams in attendance as expected.

We also welcomed new team 'Nitty Committee FC' who played really well in there first game but ultimately came up short against league veterans 'Inter Mi'Bathams'. We wish the team all the best with the new season fast approaching.

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the game between 'Dudley Warriors' and 'That Peter Crouch Team'. 'Dudley Warriors' were able to put a spanner in the works when it comes to the race for the title as they beat there opponents 2-0 meaning they are still looking to take the 2nd place before the season ends. 'That Peter Crouch Team' have a top of the table clash against 'Crumptons Firm' next week so they must bounce back if they want to retain there title. 'Dudley Warriors' face 'Man Chest Hair United'.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between top of the league 'Pass It To The Left' and 'West Midlands United F.C.'. A close game that could have gone either way but ended with 'West Midlands United F.C.' coming away with a 2-1 win and with it put themselves up to 2nd and in a promotion place with three games to go. With the way the results went in the division on the night anything can happen in the coming weeks before the season ends and we look forward to see if it will be these two teams promoted when new season comes around.

'Inter Mi'Bathams' are our team of the week following their brilliant performance against new team 'Nitty Committee FC'. A difficult season for a good team of lads has turned a corner in the last few weeks and with three games to go they have no reason to fear any team in the division, maybe they can create a few surprises on the way to the new season and most importantly climb the league further.

There is currently one space available for the new season starting Monday 9th March 2020! Sign up today and take part in the best league in your area!
