Stourbridge Monday 6 A-Side BREAKING NEWS 15TH NOVEMBER 2021

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

This week we welcomed all of the teams to the league for an exciting evening of football, on a night where England recorded their 5th biggest ever win against San Marino.

The second game of the Premier Division was game of the week with an extremely tight affair as ‘Chip Butty FC’ beat ‘Inter Mi’Bathams’. The game finished 4-3 in a top-of-the-table clash which highlights 'Chip Butty FC's' credentials for the league title this season. 'Chip Butty FC' is now top of the league, we look forward to seeing if they can continue this in their next game against 'Redz On Stedz'.

The second game of Division 1 was also game of the night and a nail-biter with just a one-goal difference between ‘Schoolboy Error’ and ‘Oaks Ay We’ where the final score was 3-2 to ‘Schoolboy Error’ as they currently sit second in the league. 'Schoolboy Error' are looking like strong candidates in Division 1 as they continue to rack up points in the table and continue their fine form from last season.

Game of the night in Division Three was the game between 'Waggon Wanderers' and 'Dynamo B.C'. A six goal thriller that could not split the two teams as both came away with the point in a 3-3 draw. It will be interesting to see how this game plays out next time they meet later in the season as this highly competitive game was fun to watch.

The team of the evening was ‘West Midlands United FC’ as they gained the largest victory of the evening. Their 8-1 victory means they have taken the lead in Division 2 as we enter week 3. They now take on the challenge of 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck F.C.' which is a competitive rivalry!
