STOURBRIDGE MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 31ST OCTOBER

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side league.

Unfortunately, we did have two non-attendances on the night as 'Yourmomszahore' and 'Hickory's Allstars' were both not present for their fixtures. 'Yourmomszahore' had a mix up with their fixture time so came after the allotted time that was given to them so, please ensure you are checking your fixture times each and every week. Both teams have confirmed there returns next week. It is paramount all teams are at their fixture each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if there are any problems then please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.

It better news, it was great to welcome new waiting list team 'Woodalls FC' who put in a good performance to start their time in the league. We wish them all the best moving forward in the league and when they are able to take a space that is available!

Some cracking games in the Premier League as all were close fixtures but game of the evening saw 'BBF United' pick up a victory over 'Darrel and his Barrels' 3-2 in a game which challenged both teams right till the final whistle. 5 goals and end to end action made for a great night of action in this game. Up to 4th and 3 points off top in a very tight Division, do we have a title push on the cards this season?

Division One game of the evening was a six-goal thriller to finish the night between 'Call the Cops FC' and 'Stourbridge Olympic'. Two closely matched teams that played at a high intensity throughout but shared the points in the end in a 3-3 draw. Can we have a winner when the two teams meet later in the season?

Division Two game of the evening was a 3-0 victory for 'Let The Game McGinn' over 'Gylfi as Charged'. A lot closer than the score line suggests but it was 'Let the Game McGinn's clinical finishing that they have sown to start the season that won the game in the end. One of two teams to win four out of four games over the whole league to start the season, are they the ones to watch for the season ahead?

With the performance above team of the week for this week are 'Let the Game McGinn', four wins out of four puts them top of Division Two going into the fifth week of the season. Can they keep the run going when they face 'West Midlands United F.C.' this week?

Although the league is full there is always space on our waiting list! Sign up today to take a space and be apart of the best league in your area!
