All the latest news for the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football with all teams in attendance and accounted for.

We did welcome three more new teams to the league as 'Ketamingolet', ''Gylfi Pleasures' and 'VI Inches Combines'. All put in great performances to start there time in the league and we wish them all the best of luck moving forward in the season!

Some great games in the Premier League but the game of the night this week goes to the game between 'Haaland Globetrotters' and 'Wheres Your Man FC'. In a hotly contested game that saw lots of chances throughout and a game played at a very high tempo we saw 'Haaland Globetrotters' come out with the 2-1 win. We are only in the early stages of the season, but this Division is looking very tight for the season ahead.

A few games stand out in Division One but it was the fantastic game between 'VI Inches Combined' and 'Let the Game McGinn' that was the game of the night. Two very evenly matched teams that played out a great game but it was 'VI Inches Combined' who came out on top in a 2-0 win. With how tight this game was it will be interesting to see how these two teams end up and how the game finishes when the two teams meet again later in the season.

The game of the night in Division Two was the game between 'Hwang Onasec' and 'Men In The Garden'. Two similarly able teams served up a thriller but in the end it was 'Hwang Onasec' who came away with the 3-2. As the weeks go by both teams will be looking to settle into the season and chase for promotion.

The Division Three game of the night was the game between 'Still Trying FC' and 'Athletic Dildao'. In a a high scoring Division this was the tightest game of the night and it was 'Athletic Dildao' who came out on top in the end. Two wins from two to start the season, are they ones to watch for the season ahead?

Team of the week for this week has to be Division Two leaders 'Baz Ball FC'. A very impressive win against 'Charva FC' means they have a 100% record going into week three of the season. Next up will be a test against 'Gylfi As Charged'  who will look to pick up form, can 'Baz Ball FC' keep the run going?
