The Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side football league has just completed its seventh week, with action-packed matches proving yet again why it's one of the most exciting  leagues in the region.

In the Premier League, Haaland Globetrotters were on top form against AFC Vexham in an astounding 8-2 victory. With an excellent attacking display they executed to perfection. Celta Allstars showed their dominance over Stourbridge Olympic with a 12-1 triumph, again showing how attack can be the best defence! While Unprotected Cesc defeated BBF United, 3-1 in a closely contested match both teams went back and forth in a great game to watch as a neutral. 

In Division 1, Piqué Blinders outperformed Bayern Neverlosen with a 5-1 victory after recovering from last weeks loss, hopefully they can continue this form in the coming weeks. Growler Out FC overcame Inter Mi’Bathams in a 7-1 win where it was a great team display which led to them beating their opponents. Two sensationally close games also took place as West Midlands United FC edged out their opponents Cott Lane Colts in a narrow 2-1 win, Wheres Your Man FC also remained composed as they beat Baz Ball FC 2-3 in a game which went back and forth until Wheres Your Man FC took advantage and went on to win the game. 

Moving on to Division 2, Big Stiff Chip Butty recorded a 5-3 win against Hickorys Allstars, with both teams having their shooting boots on it was a spectacular game to be a spectator. Further, LABEL FC and Hwang Onasec registered wins against Slumdog Mingolet and This Is Plough We Do It, respectively. Talbot 6 also went on to give a great performance against Let The Game McGinn, scoring 6 goals to Let The Game McGinn's 1 goal. 

Finally, in Division 3, Spignif Allstars edged out Athletic Dildao 2-1, in a nervy game Spignif Allstars managed to get the better of their opponents. Genoa Side overcame Still Trying FC with a 9-0 victory putting on one of their best displays of the season to also put them 4 points clear at the top of the division. Gylfi As Charged managed to register their second win of the campaign after a well composed win against We Dont Give A Flying Duck FC. Waggon Wonderers picked themselves back up to maintain pressure on the promotion places after their defeat in the previous week, they beat third placed Gylfi Pleasures in an excellent victory.

The team of the week is given to the Premier Leagues second placed team Haaland Globetrotter after beating convincingly beating third placed AFC Vexham. A sensational team performance clinched their second placed position into next week where they play VI Inches Combined.

As we look forward to the eighth week of the season, each division promises to continue delivering top-tier, amateur football.
