"Weekly Round-Up: Stourbridge Monday 6 a Side Football League"

In the thirteenth week of the Stourbridge Monday 6 a Side Football league, we witnessed a series of thrilling matches across all divisions. Each match showcased exceptional talent, match-winning strategies, and sportsmanship of the highest order.

In the Premier League division, AFC Vexham clinched a narrow victory against BBF United with a final score of 3-2, both teams displayed sublime team efforts and BBF United will feel hard done by in an extremely competitive matchup. A dominant performance by Celta Allstars saw them triumph over Unprotected Cesc with a colossal 9-0 win as they got back to winning ways. Haaland Globetrotters also provided a solid performance as they beat De Jong Boys 4-0 leaving them in third place in week 13! Finally in the Premier League VI Inches Combined extended the points gap between them and the bottom two after an excellent team performance as they beat Stourbridge Olympic 4-1. 

Division 1 witnessed a riveting match between Baz Ball FC and Bayern Neverlosen, with the latter securing a win by 3-2. Wheres Your Man FC left no stone unturned against Cott Lane Colts, winning the match 8-0.  Growler Out FC fought tooth and nail to beat their opponents Pique Blinders where the final score was 4-2. Finally West Midlands United F.C. beat their opponents The Unbelievable Lads FC, can they escape the bottom two as they take on Cott Lane Colts next week!

In Division 2, Hwang Onasec outperformed Hickorys Allstars with a remarkable 7-1 victory. Big Stiff Chip Butty's players also had an enjoyable outing as they put their shooting boots on to secure a 5-2 victory. Lable FC also provided a composed performance as they overcame This Is Plough We Do It in a 2-1 victory, securing their place at the top of the table as we enter the final week of the season. Slumdog Mignolet however, kept on the heals of Lable FC as they now remain on the same points and only being separated by goal-difference after beating Slumdog Mignolet. 


Division 3 saw Gylfi Pleasures scoring an emphatic 11-2 victory against We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC. Athletic Dildao also added to their points tally after beating their opponents 5-1 in a well orchestrated performance. Spignif Allstars provided a near perfect display beating Still Trying FC 3-0.

In the Division 4, Reserve Squad V2 had a convincing win over Peter Larsen Kaffe, with a final score of 6-3. Scran City triumphed over Paralympique Marseille 1-0 to ensure they remain at the top of the table after 5 matches with the last game of the season being next week!

The team of the week is given to Gylfi Pleasures as they remain strong in their charge to finish within the top two in the division. With one game remaining and on the same points as third placed Waggon Wonderers. Who will gain promotion?
