A spectacular display of football was witnessed in the 7th week of the Stourbridge Monday league. Teams across six divisions came together for a thrilling showcase of local talent. Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance on the evening in BBF United, we will be in contact with the team captain to ensure their return to the league. We also had an incident on the evening as Ben from Athletic Dildao kicked out at an opposition player off of the ball. We have issued a £20 fine and a two-week ban for the player as punishment for the incident. We would like to reinforce that any form of misconduct will not be tolerated at the league and will be dealt with accordingly.

In more positive news in the Premier League division, Unprotected Cesc pulled off a narrow victory over Haaland Globetrotters with a score of 4-3, largely thanks to the impressive performance of their attack being relentless throughout the match. The division witnessed some fierce competition as Celta Allstars also claimed a 3-1 win over AFC Vexham, and Wheres Your Man FC clinched a 2-0 victory against Stourbridge Olympic.

Over in Division 1, Highlights included a decisive 6-1 victory for Baz Ball FC against Big Stiff Chip Butty as they climbed the table to second in the division. LABEL FC's 3-0 win over Bunting Mental was a well-composed performance as they gained their third win of the season.

Division 2 was equally exciting, with De Jong Boys commanding a 4-0 win against Bayern Neverlosen, thanks to their exciting attacking prowess. Piqué Blinders and Mirage United also demonstrated strong performances, securing wins against West Midlands United F.C. and Notting Yourmumsforest respectively.

In Division 3,  Reserve Squad V2 nabbed a victory over Paralympique Marseille in 5-4 fashion! The division's games proved to be extremely exciting, and Scran City secured a 2-0 victory against Hwang Onasec.

Division 4 saw, Waggon Wonderers pip Peter Larsen Kaffe with a single goal in a tight competition. Meanwhile, Cott Lane Colts and Athletic Dildao settled for a 2-2 draw. Spigniff Allstars pulled through thanks to a great team performances beating This Is Plough We Do It 2:0

Inter Mi’Bathams dominated Division 5 by outscoring their opponents, leading to a resounding victory against Danny Gs Henchmen. Elsewhere, Gylfi As Charged celebrated a 5-1 win over Hickorys Allstars, and The Unbelievable Lads FC narrowly defeated Still Trying FC with a 1-0 scoreline.

The team of the week is given to Inter Mi'Bathams as they provided a sensational performance to beat their opponents. Next week they face league leaders Hickory's Allstars which will be a challenging matchup for both sides.

The Stourbridge Monday League continues to deliver a thrilling season of football, with players and teams alike pushing the boundaries of their skills and determination. We look forward to the upcoming week as the competition intensifies!
