In the latest week of the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side Football league, the spectators were treated to a fine display of skill, teamwork, and competitive sporting spirit. The various divisions saw a thrilling mix of high-scoring games, gritty defensive plays, and individual brilliance.

In the Premier League division, Pork Loin FC managed a resounding victory against Wheres Your Man FC. Celta Allstars were equally impressive to come out winners over DY5 Bullets as we head into week three of the season.

The Division 1 matches were equally exciting. The game between Big Stiff Chip Butty and Scran City ended in a 3-2 win for the former, while Royals dominated Get Up FC with a 5-0 victory. Fries.Bag.Now were the winners in the other game on the night as they ran out 3-1 winners over Yatesys VI.

In Division 2, Bunting Mental and Athletic Dildao engaged in a neck-and-neck match, ending in a 4-3 win for Athletic Dildao. Bayern Neverlosen were 2-1 winners over Lads On Toure, Baz Balll FC ran out 4-0 winners over Past Our Prime and Fill Her Wycombe finished the night with a good 2-1 win over Hwang Bang.

Some equally exciting contests were seen in Division 3, with Spignif Allstars winning 5-1 against Twinkle Toes. Big Balls are sitting top of Division Three with a 1-0 win over Boca and Pique Blinders were 5-2 winners over Peter Larsen Kaffe in a very entertaining 7-goal game. The division was rounded out with a goalless draw between Unathletic Madrid and Expected Toulouse FC.

In Division 4, Rios Friday FC defeated Bakers Barmy Army 3-1, thanks to an outstanding performance by the team. The other three games were tight affairs as SPAFF It FC and Danny Gs Henchmen were 1-0 winners against This is Plough We Do It and Still Trying FC respectively and the other game ended in a 1-1 draw between Team Pending and Pathetico Madrid.

As we move into the next week of the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side Football league, the fans and players alike will be looking forward to more such exhilarating performances. The spirit of competition is alive and well, and the quest for glory continues.

The league is now OFF for Bank Holiday Monday this week and will return Monday 12th May 2025. We wish all players, officials and there families a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend and see you all when we return. Please also note that the league will be OFF for another bank holiday in May also on Monday 25th May 2025 so plan accordingly.
