In an exciting week of football, the Stourbridge Monday 6 a side Football league kicked off week 6 of their season with some truly thrilling matches.

Unfortunately, we did have two non-attendances on the night, These teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with them both this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League, Genoa Side enjoyed a decisive win over ALAN FC, while Celta Allstars dominated the field with a commanding victory over Top Of The League. While The Galacticos and Pork Loin FC both celebrated respective wins against Wheres Your Man FC and DY5 Bullets.

Division 1 saw BBF United secure a comfortable win against Scran City. While Fries.Bag.Now remain top of the table after their victory against Get Up FC. Finally, Big Stiff Chip Butty overcame Royals winning 4-2.

Over in Division 2, Hwang Bang had quite the showing with a win over Past Our Prime. The goals did not end there as Baz Ball beat Lads On Toure 4-3 and Bunting Mental beat Bayern Neverlosen 3-2. Finally, Athletic Dildao and Fill Her Wycombe drew 2-2.

In Division 3, Spignif Allstars truly lived up to their name with a resounding victory over Boca. Unathletic Madrid beat Pique Blinders in a 5-4 goal fest. Twinkle Toes also beat Expected Toulouse FC comfortably.

Rounding out the week's play in Division 4, Rios Friday FC clashed with Team Pending in a thrilling match which ended in a 5-3 win for Rios Friday FC. Pathetico Madrid saw out Still Trying FC winning 3-1. Spaff It FC and Bakers Barmy Army drew 1-1. Finally, Danny Gs Henchmen beat This Is Plough We Do It by a single goal. 

As the season continues, the competition is heating up. Players and fans alike are looking forward to more action-packed football in the weeks ahead.
