In a thrilling start to the new season of the Stourbridge Monday 6 a side Football league, teams across divisions put on a compelling display of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.

Unfortunately, we did have a number of non-attendances on the night, these teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with both of them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

We did also have one team give their 7 days notice for this week to cancel their game, We look forward to welcoming Team Pending back on Monday. If you do have any dates for holidays please make sure you inform your area manager.

In the Premier League division, Celta Allstars made a strong start with a 3-0 victory against Wheres Your Man FC, Puyolpantsdown secured a 5-1 win over Fries.Bag.Now, and Pork Loin FC claimed a 2-0 triumph against FS FC. 

In Division 1, Baz Ball FC narrowly edged past VI Inches Combined 3-2, Euro Anchor FC defeated Scran City 2-1, and Royals held Hwang Bang to a 2-2 draw.

Division 2 saw an exhilarating match with Spignif Allstars beating Bayern Neverlosen. AFC Gornal achieved an impressive win over BBF United. Athletic Dildao dominated against Bunting Mental. While, Big Balls beat Perrywoods Past & Present 2-0.

In Division 3, Genoa Side triumphed over Unreal Madrid 3-1, Get Up FC drew with Twinkle Toes 1-1, and Surreal Madrid barely snatched a victory against Its About To Get Messi with a 5-4 scoreline. Past Our Prime got off to a good start beating Lads On Toure 1-0.

In Division 4, Piqué Blinders clinched a win over ALAN FC 3-2, while Bakers Barmy Army managed to defeat Ketamingolet 1-0. Barely Athletic beat Expected Toulouse 4-2. While, Danny Gs Henchmen saw out Boca winning 1-0.

Finally, in Division 5, Top Of The League beat Cunning Stunts Unathletic 3-1. Del Bosque FC also beat This Is Plough We Do It winning 1-0.

As the season unfolds, fans and participants eagerly anticipate more impressive performances in the weeks to come.
