In a thrilling week of football, the Stourbridge Monday 6 a side Football League saw teams battling it out in week 2 of the season.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the night in the game between Athletic Dildao and Big Balls where punches were thrown. The players in question have been fined accordingly and banned from the league permanently with immediate affect. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each time they happen as it is not the league we want to promote at the venue.

We did also have one team give their 7 days notice for this week to cancel their game, We look forward to welcoming Expected Toulouse FC back on Monday. If you do have any dates for holidays please make sure you inform your area manager.

In the Premier League division, FS FC triumphed over Celta Allstars with a big scoreline, while Pork Loin FC and The Galacticos also secured victories over Fries.Bag.Now and Wheres Your Man FC respectively. Puyolpantsdown also beat DY5 Bullets 2-1 in a competitive game. 

The Division 1 matches displayed equally exciting performances, with Euro Anchor FC emerging victorious over Royals with a score of 6-3. Scran City had a huge victory over Baz Ball FC. AFC Vexham saw out Hwang Bang winning 2-0. While VI Inches Combined beat Yatesys VI 3-0.

Athletic Dildao and Perrywoods Past & Present took the spotlight in Division 2, with the former beating Big Balls 3-2 and the latter beating BBF United 4-2. Bayern Neverlosen beat Bunting Mental 3-2. AFC Gornal also beat Spignif Allstars 3-0 sending them top of the table.

In Division 3, Unreal Madrid came out on top, beating Twinkle Toes 5-3. Genoa Side beat Lads On Toure 2-0. Surreal Madrid saw out Get Up FC by a singular goal. Finally, Past Our Prime beat Its About To Get Messi 4-3 in an absolute goal fest.

Division 4 saw Barely Athletic and Piqué Blinders clinch victories, beating both Danny Gs Henchmen and Ketamignolet by a considerable amount respectively. ALAN FC also saw out Boca 4-1. 

Finally, in Division 5, SPAFF IT FC and This Is Plough We Do It emerged victorious having good wins against Pathetico Madrid and Top Of The League. Cunning Stunts Unathletic beat Rios Friday FC 2-1. While finally, Del Bosque FC demolished Team Pending.

As the season progresses, each team will be looking to bring their best to the pitch in pursuit of the coveted top spots in their respective divisions.

The league is now ON for Bank Holiday Monday this week and we will see you all down at the league on Monday 25th August 2025.
