Football fans, brace yourselves! The Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side league has kicked off with a thrilling start to the season. Spectacular goals, stunning saves, and stellar performances dominated the opening week, setting an exciting tone for the weeks to come.

Unfortunately, we did have a couple of non-attendances on the night, These teams were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them both this week in order to confirm their returns for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League, Celta Allstars made a statement with a big victory over VI Inches Combined, while Pork Loin FC routed Scran City.

Moving down into Division 1, AFC Gornal triumphed over Spignif Allstars with a big scoreline, while Khedira Pin Drop secured a convincing victory against Royals. 

Over in Division 2, Pint After, Hwang Bang, and Surreal Madrid all claimed victories against their respective opponents of Bunting Mental, Yatesys VI and Big Balls. With Surreal Madrid being the standout performers.

In Division 3, Genoa Side, Get Up FC, and Bayern Neverlosen all tasted victory, beating Unreal Madrid, Pique Blinders and Barely Athletic respectively. With Get Up FC standing out, scoring a handful of goals. 

Division 4 saw victories for Lads On Toure, Bakers Barmy Army, Danny Gs Henchmen, and Talbot 6. Beating Del Bosque FC, Ketamignolet, Boca and Pathetico Madrid respectively. With Talbot 6 claiming the biggest win of the night.

Finally, in Division 5, Top Of The League, This Is Plough We Do It, ALAN FC, and SPAFF IT FC all secured wins, they all won against Cunning Stunts Unathletic, Expected Toulouse FC, Team Pending and Rios Friday FC respectively. ALAN FC stood out for their excellent performance against Team Pending.
