In the latest week of the Stourbridge Monday 6 a side Football league, teams from across the divisions battled it out on the field to showcase their skills and tenacity.

We did have a number of non-attendances on the night but most teams had given there 7 days notice due to it being the last week before Christmas and we look forward to all teams returning after the Christmas break.

In the Premier League, the match between Kford Rent Boys and Pork Loin FC ended with a stunning victory for Pork Loin FC. Fries.Bag.Now ran out 2-0 winners over VI Inches Combined and in the clash of the top two Celta Allstars were very impressive in there 3-1 win over Chin N Tonic.

Division 1 witnessed a high scoring game as Royals emerged victorious against Galastourary with a high scoring win. Khedira Pin Drop and Wheres Your Man FC played out a very entertaining 3-3 draw as well in this division.

In Division 2, Yatesys VI secured a solid win over Bunting Mental as they climbed above there opponents in the standings and will look to build on this in the weeks to come.

Piqué Blinders and Genoa Side respectively defeated Barely Athletic and Get Up FC in Division 3, with the former match ending 3-1 and the latter 5-0. Genoa Side 5 points clear of the third place now as they look for promotion this season.

Over in Division 4, Lads On Toure and Pathetico Madrid won their games, with Lads On Toure winning 6-2 over Talbot 6, while Pathetico Madrid beat Bakers Barmy Army 5-2. In the other game in this division Ketamignolet ran out 2-1 winners over Boca and that rounded out the night in competitive fashion.

Finally, in Division 5, Top Of The League narrowly defeated ALAN FC 3-2, while Rios Friday FC outscored This Is Plough We Do It 4-3. Both tight games in a division that is great to watch for the neutral.

As the season continues, the competition only gets fiercer. The teams are geared up for more action-packed matches in the weeks to come.
