The Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side football league kicked off its new season in high spirits and thrilling action this week. The games saw a flurry of goals, tough tackles, and sensational performances across the Premier League, Division 1 to 5.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the night during the game between Kford Rent Boys and Yatesys VI, where a player from Kford Rent Boys was sent from the field of play for violent conduct and has been fined and banned accordingly for his actions. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly every time they happen by our Area Manager to make sure the league is a safe place to be for all the teams and staff. 

In the Premier League, AFC Gornal set the bar high, with a resounding 8-4 victory over Chin N Tonic. Celta Allstars also secured a well-deserved win against VI Inches Combined with a scoreline of 4-1. Meanwhile, Fries.Bag.Now, pulled off a stunning 3-0 win against Wheres Your Man FC. The Galacticos and Pork Loin FC shared the points, with their game ending 2-2. 

Division 1 saw a standout performance from Yatesys VI's who had a 4-3 triumph over Kford Rent Boys. Khedira Pin Drop cruised past Hala Hinksford. Spignif Allstars edged past Lamesburys United winning 2-1. While Scran City beat Surreal Madrid 5-2 in a goal fest.

In Division 2, Big Balls gained a big victory over Never Cash Out FC. Gangsters Allardyce cruised past Genoa Side beating them 5-1. The Six Offenders started their season well with a 3-0 win over Hwang Bang. Finally, Pint After beat PSV Hangover 4-2. 

In Division 3, Talbot 6 delivered a stellar performance against Piqué Blinders. Past Our Prime were victorious in a 6-3 win over Pathetico Madrid. Swinfordians beat Beres FC by one goal, in a game that ended 3-2 to the former. While Openda Legs FC beat Noir FC by the same scoreline of 3-2. 

Division 4 was not short of excitement either, LRC Litness triumphed 8-5 over Barely Athletic. Danny Gs Henchmen squeezed past Top Of The League 2-1. Lads On Toure had a solid 3-2 win over Del Bosque FC. Finally, FC RTG beat Bakers Barmy Army 4-0. 

Finally, in Division 5, Boca reigned supreme with a victory against Cunning Stunts Unathletic. Ketamignolet and ALAN FC drew 2-2. It was also all honors even as Galastourary drew 1-1 with Rios Friday FC. Finally, Expected Toulouse FC edged out This Is Plough We Do It with a 3-2 win. 

As the season unfolds, anticipation is high for more exhilarating games and outstanding performances. With a start as energetic as this, football enthusiasts are in for a treat in the Stourbridge Monday league.
