Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
In the week 6 of the Stourbridge Monday Football League, the fields were filled with high-speed chases, dramatic tackles, and some seriously impressive goal scoring. As the matches unfolded, the competition got intense in the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, and Division 5.
Unfortunately, we did have a number of non-attendances on the night, These teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with both of them this week in order to confirm their returns for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
We did also have a number of teams hand in their 7 days notice to cancel for this week, we look forward to welcoming back Pint After, Cunning Stunts Unathletic, Chin N Tonic, Beres FC and AFC Gornal for next weeks games!
In the Premier League, the night saw some thrilling action with Wheres Your Man FC drawing with Pork Loin FC with a scoreline of 2-2 and Fries.Bag.Now securing a convincing 3-0 victory against VI Inches Combined.
The action continued in Division 1, where Surreal Madrid achieved a significant 6-2 victory over Hala Hinksford.
Division 2 also saw some heated matches as The Six Offenders edged out PSV Hangover with a 6-4 score. Gangsters Allardyce also overcame Big Balls with a 5-1 win. Hwang Bang saw out Genoa Side winning 3-2
In Division 3, Piqué Blinders and Swinfordians came out on top against Openda Legs FC, finishing 4-2. While, Pique Blinders swept Noir FC aside with a 5-1 win.
Division 4 wasn't short of action either. FC RTG dominated the game with a large victory against Top Of The League. Bakers Barmy Army brushed aside LRC Litness, finishing 4-2. Barely Athletic edged out Lads On Toure with a 3-1 win. Finally, Danny Gs Henchmen and Del Bosque FC drew 1-1 in a stalemate.
Meanwhile, in Division 5, This Is Plough We Do It clinched an huge victory against Rios Friday FC. Boca brushed ALAN FC aside winning 3-1. Finally, in the game of the night, Ketamignolet beat Galastourary in a goal fest, which finished 5-4.
As the league progresses, anticipation is high for the next round of matches. The performances of top scorers and teams have set the tone for an exciting season ahead.
