THREE GAMES TO GO IN THE BRIERLEY HILL MONDAY LEAGUE!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Brierley Hill Monday League this week. It was however very disappointing that 'Crep City FC' were unable to fulfil their fixture. The team have already contacted in order to confirm their attendance next week. It is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week.

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the game between 'AC McCann' and 'Lets Get Messi', two teams fighting for there lives at the bottom of the Premier Division. Well done to 'Lets Get Messi' who got revenge on their opponents for their earlier in the season loss, 3-1 they won and have now won two in a row to go two points clear of the drop zone with 3 games left. At the other end of the table 'Dudley Warriors' secured a top two finish with a 4-0 win over 'That Peter Crouch Team' and are 3 points clear with 3 games to go in the race for the title.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between league veterans '6 Berks And A Turk' and league new boys 'Crumptons Firm'. A close game that could have gone either way ended with the new team coming away with a 1-0 win and throws things wide open with three weeks of the season to go. The new team look like they could be good enough for the Premier Division next season on this showing, only time will tell. The race for the runners up award hots up next week as '6 Berks And A Turk' and 'We Don't Give A Flying Duck FC' face off and whoever wins takes a giant leap to claiming the second place prize. On another note 'Exeter Gently' have all but secured promotion to the Premier Division next season, all they have to do next week is not lose and they will be playing Premier Division Football next season, good luck boys!

'Lets Get Messi' are our team of the week following their brilliant performance in the game of the week above. A difficult season for a good team of lads has turned a corner in the last few weeks and with three games to go they have no reason to fear any team in the division, maybe they can create a few surprises on the way to the new season and most importantly keep there Premier Division status.

Although the league is full their is always space on our waiting list ready for the new season starting Monday 5th August 2019! Sign up today and take part in the best league in your area!
