THREE WEEKS GONE, THREE TEAMS WITH MAXIMUM POINTS!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Brierley Hill Monday League this week. It was however very disappointing that 'Who Ate All Depays' were unable to fulfil their fixture. The team have already contacted in order to confirm their attendance next week but unfortunately they are unable to continue in league, we would like to thank them for there commitment to the league and hope to see them in a league again in the future. It is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week. 

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the first game of the night between 'That Peter Crouch Team' and 'Lets Get Messi', two teams that know each other well now and always serve up a cracker. Well done to the champions 'That Peter Coruch Team' who managed to come away with the points but it really could have gone either way in an enthralling first encounter of the night. With this result both teams sit at opposite ends of the table but with 11 weeks still to go in the season there is still a long way to go.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between league veterans '6 Berks And A Turk' and 'West Midlands United F.C'. A close game that could have gone either way ended up in a 2-2 draw and really shows how closely matched these two teams are. Two points separate 6 teams in Division One after three games so it will be interesting to see how it plays out as the season goes.

'Crumptons Firm' are our team of the week as they are one three teams that have won all three games to start the season. Having come up from Division One last season they have hit the ground running and look like they will be contenders this one. Next up is 'Helen Jones FC', a new team that have made a good start to life in the league, who will come out on top?
