TWO GAMES INTO NEW SEASON IN BRIERLEY HILL!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Brierley Hill Monday League this week. It was however very disappointing that 'Pass It To The Left' were unable to fulfil their fixture. The team have already contacted in order to confirm their attendance for the next fixtures. It is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week. 

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the last game of the night between 'Borussia Teeth' and 'Man Chest Hair United'. Well done to 'Borussia Teeth' who managed to end up on the winning end of an 8 goal thriller 5-3 in a very entertaining game to finish the night off. With only two teams with two wins out of two so far it will be interesting to see how the season plays out.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between 'Baloteletubbies' and 'Nitty Committee FC'. 'Nitty Committee FC' were able to bounce back following there first game of the season loss to win 3-0. Three teams in Division One are undefeated so far so it will be interesting to see how the season plans out as the weeks go by.

'Is This The Way To Hammer Villa?' are our team of the week as they are one two teams that have won both of there league games to start the season in the Premier Division. With this being there first full season at the league they will be looking to push on and see if they can mount a title push. Next up is 'That Peter Crouch Team', the other team with maximum points so far, who will come out on top?

As another note to all teams with the announcement from the government this evening in regards to schools the league will be looking for an update on this situation from the centre and how this effects us moving forward. We will be updating where we are with it tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled.
