TWO TO GO IN THE BRIERLEY HILL MONDAY LEAGUE!!!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Brierley Hill Monday League this week. It was however very disappointing that 'Dudley Warriors' were unable to fulfil their fixture. The team have already contacted in order to confirm their attendance next week. It is paramount that all teams are present for each and every fixture and if not try their hardest to contact the area manager in a sufficient amount of time in order for the league to run smoothly and effectively each week. 

Game of the night in the Premier Division goes to the top of the table clash between 'Crumptons Firm' and 'That Peter Crouch Team', two teams fighting for the title with only three weeks to go. Well done to 'Crumptons Firm' who managed to come away with the 2-0 win and in turn have been crowned the new champions of the Premier Division, meaning they have managed to go back to back winning back to back titles after winning Division One last season. 'That Peter Crouch Team' will be looking for revenge when the two teams meet again for the final game of the season and to put a maker down so they can win the title back next season.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between 'West Midlands United F.C.' and 'Crep City FC'. A close game that could have gone either way ended with 'West Midlands United F.C.' coming away with a 1-0 win and therefore keeping things very interesting with two weeks to go in the season. With this result 'West Midlands United F.C.' are now only second on goal difference. The race for promotion is really going to the wire as 6 teams still have a chance of going up, and with the top two 'Pass It To The Left' and 'West Midlands United F.C.' playing each other next week it is anybody's guess who will be in the top two after next weeks games.

Newly crowned champions 'Crumptons Firm' are our team of the week following their brilliant performance to take the title this week. They remained undefeated for the season, can they remain that way when the season comes to an end?
