GREAT TO SEE ALL TEAMS AT FIRST NIGHT OF NEW LEAGUE!
An interesting first night in the Stourbridge Sunday League as due to problems with centre it didn't quite go to plan. It was brilliant to meet all teams for the first time and hope you can agree that the facilities are fantastic to use for the league moving forward even if there were some teething issues to start.
I have spoken to the Club today and they have apologised and taken full responsibility for the problems last night. They have also sent the following email to me below to back this up.
'Dear Ste
It was good to catch up with you earlier to discuss the issues that you incurred at Stourbridge Rugby Club. Apologies that we have made an error in not ensuring that we had adequate staff on site to enable your confirmed booking to go ahead. There has been a breakdown in communications on who was going to be on duty Sunday evening and we will look into this to ensure It doesn't happen again. I have now sent you my personal mobile number so that you have a link with the Club Office out of hours.
Again, on behalf of the Club I wish to apologise and hope from here on, we are able to build a strong partnership.'
I will be in contact with all team captains shortly to discuss what will be happening moving forward in order to get back to the normal way the league will run and look forward to seeing you all next week when the car park and floddlights are fully functiona for us to use.
