STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 10TH APRIL 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A great evening of football with plenty of entertaining action in the Stourbridge Sunday League. We did have 'What's My Age Again FC' unable to fulfil there fixture and therefore giving the required 7 days notice to cancel. We look forward to having them back after the Easter break.

There were many thrilling games in this week's league games. The game of the evening, however, was played between 'Hoosier Daddy's' and 'I Like That' as the two teams battled back and forth until the final whistle. It was 'Hoosier Daddy's' who handed 'I Like That' the deafeat as they managed to to win 4-2 in a scintillating game. The influential presence of Aaron Pardoe was crucial to the sides victory with his MVP performance as all bystanders enjoyed the game.

The team of the week is 'Sexy Football' as they cling onto first placed 'Hoosier Daddy's' with only two points separating the two teams. There was no intention of 'Sexy Football' holding back as they were victorious  which included an Edward Sandford masterclass. We look forward to seeing if they can continue with their excellent form and keep the pressure on 'Hoosier Daddy's' in the weeks to come.

The league is now off for Easter Sunday meaning the league will resume again on Sunday 24th April 2022 as the centre is closed. We would like to wish everyone involved with the league a happy Easter and see you in a few weeks.
