STOURBRIDGE SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 29TH MAY 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

It was a great evening at the Stourbridge Sunday League with all teams in attendance as expected. It was great to have welcomed new team 'Stourbridge Zebra' for there first game and even though it may not have been the result they would have liked they were very competitive in it. We wish them all the best moving forward in the league!

We had plenty of excellent entertainment and games that were thoroughly enjoyed by all participants. The game of the evening however was a brilliant draw between 'What's My Age Again FC' and 'Big Butie Beaches' as the final score finished 2-2 neither team could break the deadlock despite both teams best attempts. The highlight of the game was a vital brace from Taylor Massey to ensure the game did not go in 'What's My Age Again FC'S' favour. It will be interesting to see how these two fair the next time they meet later in the season.

The team of the evening this week goes to 'I Like That' as they ran out 4-0 winners over 'AFC Audnam' with a great all round team performance which included an impressive brace from Kian Lord to top off their excellent evening of football. We look forward to seeing if they can keep up with this form and make a bid for the title this season as they are now only off the top on goal difference.
