All the latest news for the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

It was great to get the season off with a bang with all teams in attendance as expected.

It was brilliant to welcome 'Don't Tell Stella'' to the league and was great to see them get off to a winning start. We wish them all the best moving forward!

The game of the evening saw new team 'Don't Tell Stella' beat 'Real Sosobad' in an exciting encounter that saw the new team ran out 3-2 winners. Both teams played very well throughout and it was the 'Don't Tell Stella' goalkeeper that was the standout performers in a close game. With how close this contest was it will be interesting to see who will come out on top when the two teams meet again later in the season.

The team of the week in the opener of the season is given to last season winners 'Badway Madway' as they start the season in style with a victory over 'Stourbridge Zebra'. Can the team do it again this season? Next up is 'Real Sosobad' so can they keep the good start going?
