Stourbridge Sunday's 6 a side football league was in full swing last night, as teams battled it out in the division named Premier League. In what was week 7 of the season, spectators were treated to an evening of thrilling action and goals galore.

We did have an injury on the night where Connor Butler of Don't Tell Stella needed medical assistance when he went down with a knee injury on the night. Unfortunately it has been confirmation he has in fact dislocated his knee and possibly done more to it also. This means that he will be out of action now for a long time and we would like to wish him a speedy recovery and hope he gets well soon. As the game in question was not officially finished on the night the game will be replayed next week.

We also had two non-attendances on the night, Pique Blinders were not present after giving their seven days notice to cancel a fixture meaning we look forward to having them back this week. Sexy Football missed there last game before they leave the league for a while after having numbers depleted by players not being available moving forward, we wish them all the best moving forward and hope to see them all at the league again soon.

To go through the matches on the night we saw I Like That take on Delph And Safety FC, with I Like That emerging victorious with a 2-0 win. Phoenix FC faced off against Baggies Babes in an epic 3-3 draw, with both sides showcasing some brilliant attacking football. The other results saw 5-0 wins for Biffs Army and Real Sosobad as they both look to keep up there challenge for the title for the season ahead.

I Like That were our team of the week, whose impressive display on the pitch helped them move up the table this week. Next up for them is Phoenix FC, can they keep this run going?
