Stourbridge Sunday saw some thrilling action in week 8 of the ongoing 6 a side football league. The highlight of the evening were the Premier League division matches played, which produced some nail-biting finishes.

It was great to welcome new team ‘Someone Like Ayew’ who performed in their first game at the league. We wish them all the best moving forward in the league!

In the games on the night, Biffs Army secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Real SoSoBad, while Pique Blinders suffered a narrow. 3-2 defeat against Dont Tell Stella. Someone Like Ayew claimed a comfortable 2-0 win over Stourbridge Zebra, and I Like That impressed with their 4-2 triumph over Phoenix FC. In the replayed game from last week Stourbridge Zebra were able to avenge their defeat above with a 2-0 win over Dont Tell Stella.

New team Someone Like Ayew were our standout performers this week as they finished with a win on the night. They will be looking to keep this fine start going as they go into a game against Pique Blinders next week.
