In an explosive eighth week of the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side Football League, the teams in the Premier League division showcased their skills in a series of thrilling encounters. The league table has started taking shape, and the stakes are high for all the teams involved.

Unfortunately we did have one non attendance as 'Shadrack Spartans' were not present for there fixture and as per the terms and conditions as this was their second non-attendance in as many weeks will now be removed from the league with immediate effect. It is paramount all teams are present each and every week in order for the league thrive, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time in order.

In more positive news, the league witnessed Gangsters Allardyce lock horns with The Merry Men, resulting in a convincing victory for Allardyce. They dominated the game throughout, leaving no room for The Merry Men to make a comeback. This win has definitely raised the spirits in the Allardyce camp.

Meanwhile, the match between I Like That and Stourbridge Zebra turned out to be a feast for the goal lovers. I Like That stamped their authority on the game, defeating Stourbridge Zebra. In the last game of the day, Pique Blinders faced off against Brexit FC in an intense face-off. The Brexit FC team played with a high level of intensity and rhythm, outscoring Pique Blinders 6-2.

Despite the heated competition, the spirit of sportsmanship prevailed throughout the league. The teams are gearing up for the next week, in hopes of climbing up the league table, while the spectators are eager to witness more such electrifying matches.

As the Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side league moves into its ninth week, the Premier League division promises more thrilling showdowns and stellar performances. The players and fans are eagerly awaiting the next round of games, as the quest for the championship continues.

The league is now OFF for Easter Sunday this week and will return Sunday 7th April 2024. We wish all players, officials and there families a wonderful Easter and see you all when we return.
