Last night marked the fifth week of the exciting Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side Football League, and the action was as heated as ever across all divisions.

In the Premier League division, it was the boys from First The Points Then The Pints who dominated the field, securing a comfortable 4-1 victory over Stourbridge Olympic. Other fixtures saw I Like That narrowly edge out Withy Regens in a 5-4 thriller, while Inter Yurmammy managed to hold Stourbridge Old Boys to a 3-0 clean sheet. The Onlygrowers were also dominant in a big win against Graces All Stars.

Moving on to Division 1, the highlight of the fixtures was the Ragarse Rovers' 7-3 demolition of Top Bins FC. In a tightly contested match, X FC edged out Real Sosobad 3-2, while Oldcastle United managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Real Ale Madrid.

Division 2 saw a flurry of goals with the Young Boys putting on an exhibition, demolishing Pain In Diaz with a big score line. The Pique Blinders and The Merry Men provided a thrilling 3-2 game, with the former emerging victorious. Despite Sheffield Sunday’s effort, they fell to a 4-0 defeat to Balotelli-Tubbies. The match between 60k and Kewford Old Eagles ended in a 3-3 stalemate.
