Play in the Stourbridge Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
Following the thrilling Week 3 of Stourbridge Sunday 6-a-side Football league last night, we bring you an exciting recap of the action that unfolded on the pitch.
Unfortunately, We did have a non-attendance on the night, Withy Regens were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next week. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
We also had a team hand in their 7 days notice to cancel for this week, we look forward to welcoming back Pain In Diaz for next weeks games!
In the Premier League division, there was high-intensity competition between the teams. The match between Stourbridge Olympic and X FC ended in a 4-1 victory for X FC, demonstrating their offensive prowess. I Like That faced Graces All Stars in a goal-fest match that ended 6-3 in favor of the All Stars. Meanwhile, Young Boys and Inter Yurmammy resulted in a clean 2-0 win for the former.
In the Division 1, the games were equally competitive. Real Ale Madrid beat Snort Vale 5-2, while Top Bins FC edged past Exeter Gently with a 3-2 score. The Merry Men triumphed over Real Sosobad 2-1, and Elite FC defeated 60k 4-1.
The Division 2 was not devoid of excitement. Pique Blinders fell to Reform FC 7-2, showcasing Reform FC's dominant performance. Sheffield Sunday claimed a clear-cut 4-0 victory against BellyTubbies FC, while Hardly Athletic managed to secure a narrow victory over Bayer Neverlusen, ending the match 3-2.
The action-packed week showed the determination and passion of all teams, promising more thrilling games in the coming weeks.
