BRILLIANT NIGHT OF 6-A-SIDE IN STOURBRIDGE!

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have one disciplinary issue on the night as Jake Anslow from 'Rangers' was sent from the field of play for some aggressive behaviour towards his opponents on the night, he has been fined £20 for his action on the night and banned from playing for four weeks.  It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly. 

In more positive news game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Pogues FC' and 'Is It Half Time Yet?'. Although heated at times it was two evenly matched teams trying to get the win on the night but in the end the points were shared as the game finished 1-1. As there is only one point between the both of them going into the final 5 games it will be interesting to see which team finishes higher in the end.

The game of the night in Division One was between 'See You Next Tuesday' and 'Boom Xhaka Laca'. A very end to end game that had 8 goals and everyone involved playing to a very high intensity but it was 'Boom Xhaka Laca' that came away with the 5-3 win. 'Boom Xhaka Laca' are now three points clear of the rest in third and looking to chase down the top two in the final games.

Team of the week has to be '50 Shades Of O'Shea' with their brilliant 5-0 victory over second place 'Wollaston' to take a massive 5 point lead into the final five games. Two wins and they will be champions of the Stourbridge Tuesday League Premier DIvision for a fourth time.
