A fantastic night 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League. Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance as 'OTR FC' were not present for their fixture, they have already confirmed there return next week. It is paramount that all teams are present for there fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if you are struggling then please contact your Area Manager ASAP to help if necessary.
Game of the night in the Premier League this week goes to the rivalry between '50 Shades Of O'Shea' and 'Is It Half Time Yet?'. In a game that is always played to a high spirits and very competitive it was won with the last kick of the game by reigning champions '50 Shades Of O'Shea'. Next week they face league leaders 'Gangsters Allardyce' looking to close the gap on them and retain the title they won last season.
In Division One the game of the night was between 'Workplace Products FC' and 'Haven't Got A Kalou'. 3-0 up and cruising to victory 'Haven't Got A Kalou' stormed back in the second half to comeback and earn a 3-3 draw in what was a high quality game. In what is looking a very tight league this season how important will this comeback be come the end of the season?
Division Two game of the week saw top of the table 'Lenton Orient' run out 3-2 winners against 'Yatesy VI'. In what was a very entertaining game it was 'Lenton Orient' who were able to keep up there fine start to the season. Will they be able to keep this going into a top of the table clash against 'Vai FC' next week?
With there performance above and being four wins out of four so far team of the week for this week is 'Lenton Orient'. One of three teams still to drop a point this season they will be looking to keep this run going as long as possible. Can anybody stop them this season?
