OFF AND RUNNING IN THE BRIERLEY HILL TUESDAY LEAGUE

A fantastic start to the Brierley Hill Tuesday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for on a very competitive first night of the season. It was great to welcome all teams for the first time and it will be interesting to see how all teams get on in the season ahead of you.

Game of the night this week goes to the first ever game in the Brierley Hill Tuesday League between '50 Shades Of O'Shea' and 'AC McCann'. Two sides showing they will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season in this close affair where their goalkeeper was man of the match in a 3-1 win for '50 Shades Of O'Shea'. It will be interesting to see how both teams fair as the season goes into week two.

Team of the week for this week is 'Kiri's Quite A Small Lad'. A star performance by there man of the match ensured that they finished the first week of the season top of the pile, are they the team to beat this season? Only time will tell!

As a side not can all teams please ensure you are at your kick offs a minimum of 10 minutes before your kick off in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible on the night. A failure to do this will result in the team in question being charged for the game, forfeiting the match and awarding your opposition a 5-0 win.
