STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 10TH MAY 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club. 

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

The Premier League concluded the season with an epic battle between 1st placed 'Rare FC' and 2nd Placed '50 Shades of O'Shea'. The 2nd placed team would've walked away from the game with a victory to secure the title however 'Rare FC' engulfed the constant bombardment of attack to secure a draw which ensured they won the title. Congratulations to them for an excellent Unbeaten season with a record of 12 wins and 2 draws! Not to mention the astonishing 71 goal difference!

In Division 1 we had 'Workplace Products FC' win the title which deserves a massive congratulations also having an impressive unbeaten season and an amazing record of 13 wins and 1 draw from 14 games. They secure promotion alongside 'Stourbridge CC' to the Premier League! 

The winners of each Division will now have the choice of trophies and medals for their team or a trip into the monthly Leisure Leagues Prize Draw.

The MVP's for both of the leagues were Ashley Lovell of '50 Shades Of O'Shea' and Jacob Williams of 'The Six Offenders', congratulations to both! Congratulations also to our top goal scorers Evan Brookes of 'Rare FC' and Sam Morgan of 'Haven't Got A Kalou', all of these people will now enter there respective monthly prize draw in order to be rewarded for there efforts.

The new season starts next Tuesday 17th May 2022 and your Area Manager will be in contact in the coming days to confirm your first kick off time. Good luck to all teams for the new season!
