STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 16TH AUGUST 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

It was a fantastic evening of 6 a side football in Stourbridge on Tuesday which saw everyone in attendance and some entertaining matches played across the league to finish the campaign. 

Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance as 'Twinkle Toes' were not present for their fixture. We will be in contact with the team to confirm there return for next weeks first game of the season. It is paramount all teams are present for there fixtures each and every week in order for the leagues to run as smoothly as possible, if you are having any problems and need any assistance then please contact your Area Manager at the earliest point possible.

In more positive news, we welcomed new team 'RHs Finest' to the league as they were very competitive in there first game. Good luck to them in the league moving forward and we wish them and all teams the best for the new season ahead. 

Congratulations to '50 Shades Of O'Shea', 'Gangsters Allardyce' and 'Hold That FC' who finished the season as winners of their division.  And well done to 'Rare FC', 'The Six Offenders' and 'Lenton Orient' who finished as Runners-Up.  There is also congratulations to Danny Campbell of '50 Shades Of O'Shea' and Jacob Williams of 'The Six Offenders' who have walked away with the player of the season awards for their divisions and Jacob Williams also walked away with the top goal scorer award for his division with Ashley Lovell of '50 Shades Of O'Shea' and Reiss Banks of 'Hold That FC' in the other divisions. The league winners will be contacted over the coming days in order to decide what they would like there reward to be for there hard work this season for there respective league. The above teams and players will have the opportunity to be entered into their respective weekly prize draw or receive trophies and medals at the league.

We will be in contact with all teams in the coming days to give them there first kick off times for the new season that starts Tuesday 23rd August 2022.
