STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 17TH JANUARY

The latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club. 

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League.

Untortunately we did have a few non-attendances on the night, 'Troey's Rentboys' and 'Stourbridge Olympic' gave the required 7 days notice for their fixtures so we look forward to welcoming them back next week. 'Rare FC' and '50 Shades of O'Shea' were not present for their fixtures and therefore will be contacted to confirm there returns for next week. It is paramount all teams are present for there fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if there are any issues with this please ensure you contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.

In more positive news, the game of the night in the Premier League was the game between 'Lenton Orient B' and 'Gangsters Allardyce' as they played out an eight-goal thriller. The game finished 4-4 in a closely contested and highly entertaining game that could not separate a winner on the night. With how close this league is it will be interesting to see if anyone can come out with the win the next time the two teams meet.

In Division 1 we saw an entertaining game between 'Haven't Got a Kalou' and 'Swanky FC' where 'Swanky FC' ended 'Haven't Got a Kalou's unbeaten start to the season with a 4-2 win. In an end to end game 'Swanky FC' were able to show the quality needed to take the win. Next up is the tricky test of 'Borussia Teeth', who will come out on top?

Division Two game of the night was the game between 'Lads On Toure' and 'HAS Bins'. In an enthralling encounter 'Lads On Toure' were able to come out as 4-2 winners and climb clear of their opponents in the table. With top of the league 'Any Chance' next week they will be looking to climb the table even further with another win on the board.

The team of the evening this week is given to 'Saka Potatoes' who were able to put in a very good performance in order to go third in Division Two. Next up for them is 'I Only Put Matip In' and with the form they are on at the moment will fancy there chances, who will come out on top?
