STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 19TH APRIL 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club. 

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

The Premier League provided excellent entertainment throughout the evening with some exceptional team displays. With the best game being played between 'Who Ate All Depays' and 'Gangsters Allardyce' where both teams put in an excellent shift however a top draw performance from 'Who Ate All Depays' ensured they secured the full amount of points from the game in a 4-1 victory. Gangsters Allardyce may leave the game feeling they could have got more out of it. We look forward to seeing both of them in action again next week.

The Division One game of the evening saw a close game between 'Winlot Rangers' and 'Innocent Until Proven Gylfi'. The game was eventually won by 'Winlot Rangers'  as the teams went back and forth which eventually led to their winning goal scored by Danny Shaw. Despite a good performance 'Innocent Until Proven Gylfi' will feel disappointed they missed the opportunity to move up in the league table. This was an excellent performance from 'Winlot Rangers' as they begin to plan for next season and a possible higher league finish. 

The team of the week for gameweek 11 is 'Troeys Rentboys'  as they bounced back from their defeat in the previous week to secure a good victory this week.  The victory was in large part thanks to the outstanding performances from Joe Caneen who scored 4 goals and Kenny Preece who bagged a hattrick. With the end of the season nearing who will win out in the race for third place.
