STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 21ST DECEMBER 21

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance and accounted for. 

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Stourbridge CC' and 'Troey's Rentboys'. In a very competitive league another cracking game was played between two good teams as 'Troey's Rentboys' ran out 4-2 winners. Six points still splits the top seven as we go into the Christmas break which means there is still lots to play for when the league resumes.

The top of the table clash in Division One was the game of the night between 'Rare FC' and 'FC Celta'. A top quality game that saw both teams fight tooth and nail for the win but it was 'Rare FC' that came away with the 3-1 win. Both teams are now sitting on the same amount of points with 5 games to go, who will be crowned Division One champions?

Team of the week for this week because of the performance above is 'Rare FC'. Have really started well in the league and are looking to gain promotion to the Premier Division come the end of the season. 

The league is now off for the Christmas and New Year break meaning the league will resume again on Tuesday 4th January 2022 as the centre is closed. We would like to wish everyone involved with the league a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
