STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 22ND MARCH 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club. 

All teams were in attendance as expected and some great games throughout again this week.

The Premier League provided plenty of entertainment as teams went head to head in some very close encounters. However the game of the evening is given to a nail-biting 2-2 draw between 'Rare FC' and '50 Shades of O'Shea' as the play went end to end as they both hunted down the victory. Even though neither team could break the deadlock, this top of the table clash proved that these two teams are maintaining their excellent form as both are still unbeaten in this campaign as we hit the halfway mark. These two teams look set to take it right down to the wire on who will win the league. 

Division One did not disappoint either with spectators were torn between which league to watch. The game of the week was a 2-1 win for 'OTR FC' who played 'Innocent till Proven Gylfi' in an exciting game where a goal from Shaun Curtis was the difference between the two sides, it was an important win for 'OTR FC' as they continue to climb up the league table following on from their win from the week before. Next they face 'Haven't Got A Kalou' who will be looking to bounce back following there defeat this week, who will come out on top?

Team of the week is given to 'Who Ate All Depays' in an important win as they start there fight to climb out of the relegation zone with a first win since they started in the league. They won in excellent style with a very good victory against their relegation rivals 'I Only Put Matip In'. MVP for this game was Alex Johnson as he scored an excellent hat trick.
