STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 23RD AUGUST 2022

The latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club. 

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

It was also brilliant to welcome back new team 'Workplace Products FC' to the league as they put in a good showing for there first week of the season. Good luck moving forward!

Premier League game of the week saw last seasons champions '50 Shades Of O'Shea' up against 'Troey's Rentboys'. It was a fantastic game and was a great start for 'Troey's Rentboys' who came away with a 3-2 win in a very tight contest. With this win they will look to build on this form as the season progresses.

Division 1 game of the night was the nine goal thriller between newly promoted 'Murder On Zidane's Floor' and newly relegated 'Oaks Ay We'. In an end to end game it was 'Murder On Zidane's Floor' who were able to come out on top 5-4 and get there season off to a brilliant start. Back to back promotions will be what his team are looking for and with results like this it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Division 2 game of the night was between between new team 'RHs Finest' and 'OTR FC'. In a very close encounter it was a fantatics hat trick from Grant Hill that was the difference between the two teams as 'RHs Finest' ran out 3-0 winners. Staking there claim for the Division 2 title early, are they the ones to watch?

It was another Division 2 team that were team of the evening as 'Vai FC' ran out winners in there game and sit top of the league after week one. They go into a game with 'Yatesy VI' full of confidence but who's winning start will come to an end?
