A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League. Unfortunately, we did have one non-attendance on the night as 'Borussia Teeth' were not present for their fixture. Due to this being a multiple offence the team have been removed from the league with immediate effect. Although this does open up a space it is paramount all teams are at the league each week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if you are having any problems, please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
In more positive news, game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Gangsters Allardyce' and 'Troey's Rentboys'. A fantastic end to end game that saw 7 goals 'Troey's Rentboys' come out 4-3 winners in the end. Halfway through the season and looking up following this result, can they continue this form into a game against 'Lenton Orient B' next week?
It was the game between 'Haven't Got a Kalou' and 'Stourbridge Olympic' who played the game of the night in Division One. A top-quality game that saw both teams fight tooth and nail for the win, but it was 'HAven't Got a Kalou' that came away with the win. With this result they keep the pressure on the top team and will be looking to keep this good form up going into the second half of the season.
Division Two game of the night saw 'Innocent Till Proven Gylfi' take on 'HAS Bins'. Two evenly matched teams looking to climb the table ready for the second half of the season and how evenly matched they are was shown in the 1-1 result. Sitting 6th and 7th after this result both teams will be looking to get a run of results together in the next few weeks in order to climb the table in the second half of the season.
'Haven't Got a Kalou' are our team of the week this week with there result above. With only one loss this season they will feel a bit unlucky to be second at the halfway stage but will look to continue this fine form in the second half of the season to challenge for the top spot in the final seven games.
