STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 26TH APRIL 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League is direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club. 

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected.

In the Premier League, the evening had some excellent games. The most entertaining of all was a victory for 'Who ate All Depays' over 'Is It Half Time Yet?' the new team upstaged the veterans of the league. Alex Johnson ran the show for 'Who Ate All Depays' with two goals which sealed the win. 'Is It Half Time Yet?' did not disappoint either as they pushed themselves to there limits, unfortunately it wasn't enough this week however we look forward to seeing how they push on from this.

Division One did not disappoint either. The game of the evening was a 3-2 win for 'Stourbridge CC' over their opponents 'Innocent Till Proven Gylfi'. This game went right down to the wire as their was only one goal to separate the two sides, an all rounded team performance from 'Stourbridge CC' however was enough to deserve the victory. The race for the top two is very tight and with 2nd playing 3rd next week who will be a Premier Division team next season?

The team of the week is given to 'The Six Offenders' where the put an outstanding show against 'OTR FC' as they climbed above there opponents in the table. With two games left they will be looking to keep there fourth place position, next up 'Winlot Rangers', who will come out on top?
