STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 29TH MARCH 2022
A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected.
The Premier League kicked off with some excellent end-to-end games of football as all teams fought tooth and nail to gain victories. The game of the evening was a tough game as 'Gangsters Allardyce' beat 'I Only Put Ma Tip In' in a thriller of a game then ended 5-2. The game was end to end with plenty of excellent goals being scored and it was Lewis Russell of 'Gangsters Allardyce' who managed to bag a crucial hat-trick that secured the victory for them. 'I Only Put Matip In' put up an excellent fight with some great football being played however sadly it wasn't to be for them on the night.
Division 1 provided plenty of excellent entertainment throughout the evening. The game of the evening saw 'Stourbridge CC' gain a crucial 2-0 victory over 'The Six Offenders' which continues their title push and puts them level on points with the 2nd placed team in the league. 'The Six Offenders' however did not disappoint as they put in an overall great team display with them unlucky to come away from the game without any points. The MVP came through Jake Brigdale scoring a brace to secure the win. Next up for them is the tough task of taking on the unbeaten top side 'Workplace Products FC', who will come out on top?
The team of the evening resulted in an excellent display from 'Is It Half Time Yet?' as they turned their draw from last week into an outstanding 4-1 victory over 'BH Darlings'. Third place and looking to chase down the top two with six games left to play in the season. We look forward to seeing if they can take this form into next week against 'Gangsters Allardyce'.
