STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 30TH AUGUST 2022

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of very entertaining games of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

It was also great to welcome new team 'Lads On Toure' as they put in a fine display in there first game and were unlucky to come away with a loss. Good luck moving forward in the league!

Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between '50 Shades Of O'Shea' and 'The Six Offenders'. A fantastically tense game that saw last seasons champions pushed to the limit by a newly promoted team. Although they came away with the 2-1 win in the end they are in for some stiff competition this season and we look forward to seeing how it all pans out.

Game of the night in Division 1 was the game between 'Stourbridge Olympic' and 'Workplace Products FC'. A top quality game that showed the quality on offer in Division One and saw 9 wonderful goals 'Workplace Products FC' came away with a 5-4 win. With how tight this division looks it will be interesting to see how the season looks come the end of the season.

The Division 2 game of the night was between 'Yatesy VI' and 'Vai FC'. A closely contested game that was won in the end 3-2 by 'Vai FC'.'Vai FC' are one of two teams not to drop a point so far in this Division, can they keep this going in the weeks to come?

Top of the Premier League after week two are our team of the week 'Gangsters Allardyce'. A convincing win over a team that were confident after a win against last seasons champions last week shows there intent for the season ahead. They go into a game against 'The Six Offenders' next week full of confidence, who will come out on top?
