STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 3RD JANUARY

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League. Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance as 'Borussia Teeth' were not present for their fixture, will be in contact with the team in the coming days but it was due to be there last game at the league before they move nights. It is paramount that all teams are present for there fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if you are struggling then please contact your Area Manager ASAP to help if necessary.

In more positive news, game of the night in the Premier League this week goes to the game between 'Hold That FC' and 'Gangster's Allardyce'. In a very competitive game where either team wouldn't give an inch it was 'Hold That FC' who were bale to come away with the 3-2 win in the end. Next week they face 'Lenton Orient B' and as they sit one point off of the top two will be looking to get the win to get in the mix.

In Division One the game of the night was between 'Swanky FC' and 'Lenton Orient'. In a high energy and competitive game neither team could be split meaning a fair 3-3 draw saw both teams gain a point when the game had finished. In a very even league it will be interesting to see who will be the top two come the end of the season.

Division Two game of the week saw nine goals and was a great watch as 'Innocent Till Proven Gylfi' ran out 5-4 winners against 'I Only Put Matip In'. In what was a very entertaining game it was 'Innocent Till Proven Gylfi' who were able to come away with the win in the end to sit fourth after week four of the season. It's a chance to close the gap to the teams above them with a win against 'Yatesy VI' next week, who will come out on top?

A very competitive win for '50 Shades of O'Shea' against 'Rare FC' sees them as team of the week.  Tied on points with top now after a 4-2 win are they eyeing another title this season?
